TradeAutomatically ("we", "us", "our") provides custom algorithmic trading development services. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it. Plain English, no hidden clauses.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly
- Contact data — name, email address, Telegram/Discord handle when you fill in the contact form or message us.
- Project data — descriptions of your trading strategy, indicators, risk rules, target venues, and any files, scripts, or documents you send us.
- Technical data — only the API keys, credentials, or config you voluntarily share so we can build and test your bot. We strongly recommend trade-only (no-withdrawal) keys.
- Billing data — invoice details and payment references. We do not store full card numbers; payment processors (Stripe, Wise, bank) handle that directly.
Information collected automatically
- Server access logs (IP, user-agent, timestamp, requested URL) retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
- Anonymous analytics via Google Analytics 4 (if enabled) and Microsoft Clarity for aggregate traffic behaviour. No cross-site tracking.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to quote requests and deliver the development work you hired us for.
- To communicate project status, timelines, and post-delivery support.
- To issue invoices and meet tax/accounting obligations.
- To detect and prevent abuse of this website and the contact endpoint.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than delivering the service.
3. API Keys & Trading Credentials
Whenever possible we build, test, and deploy bots on your infrastructure, using your API keys — meaning your credentials never leave your environment. If a project unavoidably requires us to handle keys temporarily, we store them in an encrypted vault scoped only to that project and destroy them at the moment of handover.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
When a project closes — whether completed, cancelled, or paused past 90 days — we perform a hard deletion within 7 business days:
- Source code, strategy logic, and config files — deleted from every machine, repo, and backup we touched.
- API keys, tokens, and credentials — wiped from memory, disk, and any secret manager entry.
- Runtime logs, trade logs, and monitoring data — purged.
We retain only the minimum records required by law (invoice references, basic contact record) for tax and accounting purposes.
5. Sharing With Third Parties
Limited processors only: payment provider (Stripe/Wise), email provider, hosting provider (Hostinger/AWS), and Telegram for quote delivery. Each operates under standard data-processing terms. No marketing partners. No brokers of personal data.
6. International Transfers
Data may be processed in jurisdictions where our team or service providers operate. We rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar), you have the right to access, correct, export, or request deletion of the personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. Email contact@tradeautomatically.com and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Security
TLS on every page. Principle-of-least-privilege for all accesses. Encrypted secret storage. Two-factor authentication on every tool in our stack. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we engineer for it.
9. Children
This service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change; material changes will be flagged in the footer of the home page for at least 14 days.
