Refund Policy
We sell engineering time, not software subscriptions — so our refund approach is milestone-based and honest. Here is exactly what you can expect.
1. Before Work Starts
If you have paid an advance and we have not yet started development (no scope finalisation, no commits, no research hours billed), you are entitled to a 100% refund on written request within 7 days of payment. Processing fees charged by the payment provider, if any, are deducted from the refund.
2. After Work Starts
Once scope has been agreed and engineering work has begun, refunds become partial and are calculated against the milestones actually completed:

At every stage you keep whatever code or artefacts have already been delivered to you.
3. Defects & Warranty (Preferred Path)
If the delivered bot does not substantially do what the agreed scope says it should do, the first remedy is not a refund — it is a fix. Report the defect in writing within your support window and we will correct it at no additional cost. This is almost always a faster and better outcome for everyone than tearing up the engagement.
4. What Is Not Refundable
- Trading losses. We are not liable for any P&L generated by the system. Markets move; that risk is yours alone. Please re-read our Terms of Service, section 5.
- Third-party costs we paid on your behalf — data feeds, VPS, domain, exchange fees, audit tools, premium API tiers.
- Change-of-mind after delivery has been accepted in writing.
- Failure to deliver API access or required credentials on your side that prevents us from completing the work within the scope timeline.
- Requests incompatible with venue terms of service or applicable law — if we decline such work after advance, we refund in full; if you withdraw the project for this reason, normal milestone schedule applies.
5. How to Request a Refund
- Email contact@tradeautomatically.com from the address on file, with the project reference and the reason.
- We acknowledge within 2 business days and share our view on which stage the project is at.
- Agreed refund is processed within 10 business days via the original payment method. International transfer fees, if any, are deducted.
6. Chargebacks
Please talk to us before filing a chargeback. Nine times out of ten a direct conversation resolves the issue faster and cleaner than the payment processor's dispute path. Chargebacks filed without prior communication may delay the data-deletion process described in our Privacy Policy while we document the engagement for the processor.
7. Currency & Taxes
Refunds are issued in the original billing currency. Any taxes remitted to a tax authority on the original invoice are refunded only if and to the extent we can recover them from that authority.
